I strive to make science accessible to all students, while providing hands-on experiments and lab activities that allow students to make connections to real life experiences.

About Me

I grew up in Hunterdon County, attending Delaware Township School and Hunterdon Central before graduating from Rutgers University with bachelor's degree in Psychology.  This is my 16th year of teaching, and my 8th year teaching middle school science.  I currently live in Flemington, with my husband, our 2 kids, Ceci & Matty, and our dog, Fred!  I love spending time outside, hiking and kayaking, and collecting the coolest things from nature to display in my classroom!

After becoming a teacher, I worked for 13 years at a small private school for students with language-based learning differences, such as dyslexia and ADHD. I taught 4th grade for 6 years and then transitioned to teaching science full time.  I am Level 1 certified in Wilson Reading System and am a Certified Google Education Teacher.
